"Desert Wave Amateur Radio Club T-Hunt (Blythe, CA.), November 17th,2017, 6:00 PM T-Hunt presentation by Joe Corones,"" N6SZO at Steaks & Cakes setting the scene for an """"On-Foot T-Hunt"""" and """"Mobile Hunt"""" the following day at the local Todd Park in Blythe"", CA. , Those in attendance, Frank, KD6FXO, David, KI6TJP, Mike, KK6GKD, Lloyd, KM6FAL, Valaria, KM6LJU, Joe, K2JVD, Michelle, N6ORW, Pete, KC9CAK, Maureen, K6BSC and John Watt. All local Blythe residents., Three micro-fox transmitters were set out in the park, all on different frequencies. Three sniffers were available,"" two Aussie Boxes and one with a 4 MHz offset attenuator. Everyone had a good time locating the """"Hidden T's""""."", When that event was over we did some mobile hunting. David, KI6TJP and Lloyd, KM6FAL took a Pic Con that I had brought and hooked it up to mobile radio and hid within a 5 mile radius. I had my Explorer set up for hunting so Frank, KD6FXO, Valaria, KM6LJU, myself and John Watt went searching for them and located them behind the Albertson's Market about a mile away. We did a reverse hunt by sending them back to somewhere close to but not in the park and again located them a few blocks east of the park. , ""Several in the group plan to go to Yuma next year and attend the """"Antenna Clinic"""" to build their own tape measure beam antennas and participate in the T-hunt at the fairgrounds. The club is in possession of two Micro-fox T's and now has a better idea behind the Fox-Hunt concepts of On-Foot Hunting and Mobile Hunting and some idea of """"Hiding Techniques"""". "", Joe N6SZO"
