Remarks

Despite the initial objections for rules (guidelines) violations, seven teams participated in the hunt. Most enjoyed doing something a little different. The main transmitter was in my car parked in a residential area just south of West Hills Park. I picked this location because the hunters would probably assume it is in the park first. If you drive to this area, you need to go a little out of the way. I was too close. Everybody walked through the park and out the south gate to find me. I should have been a little further away from the gate. From there, the direction to the second T was 129 degrees true at a distance of 4.3 miles . It was a low pwoer Squawk box located in the parking lot at Fletcher Pkw and 67. You probably could not hear it until within about a mile. Tim was there to record when people found it. Dinner was at the Border restuarant. A good time was had by all.
